Got a new venue for advertising to a real captive audience.

Small local movie theaters.

We have a small movie theater in our town that runs maybe 8-10 ads over and over and over again on the big screen until the movie starts.

Who goes to the local movie theater? Local tenants and property owners.

Sending in a contract tomorrow: "We Buy Houses / We Rent Homes" --174.201.xx.xxx

$675 for 6 months. I think this theater has 6 theaters in it with multiple movie times each day. --174.201.xx.xxx

Do you have a website they can remember or another easy method for them to find your number after they leave the theatre? --72.231.xxx.xxx

That's definitely worth trying. At the very least you'll get a $675 tax deduction. Let us know how it works out for you. --70.198.xxx.xx

NE,

Great idea!

But unless you have a super catchy number ya GOTTA have a simple to remember url.

Maybe put “Take a pic of this number” on your ad! This might make your ad memorable.

“It’s rude to use your phone in the theater so quick snap a pic of this number.”

Consider a text autoreaponder for this marketing.

Too costly for such a small audience. --67.143.xxx.xxx

I just saw on our local FB feed that the Texas Roadhouse has in-house advertising (displays on their TVs). For $1500 you can pay to advertise, but --get this-- they will give you $1650 in TR gift cards if you do it!

You could give those gift cards as a move in incentive. --96.35.xxx.xxx

You can generate a custom QR code at several free online sites that a smartphone will scan that takes them to your website, which can be a simple form to gather basic data about the property and their phone number/email.

I've used on of these as a "picture" for vacancies. Works from my computer monitor, so my guess is it would on a movie screen. --173.19.xx.xxx

It doesn't sound very promising to me. Nobody goes to a movie to look for an apartment.

Look for the ones that are looking for you. Zillow. --72.172.xxx.xx

Sisco, nobody goes to the movies looking to be advertised to at all, but there's several businesses advertising there.

My main goal is the "We buy houses" portion of the ad anyway. --174.201.xx.xxx
