Hello all,
Anyone out there have any online platforms that they use and like to manage day to day maintenance calls? We are growing our apartment portfolio and now own and manage near 400 apartments and the old paper work order format is no longer cutting it as we are looking for a more direct way to communicate with our handymen in real time to see what has been completed and what still needs to be done. We know that this will be an investment but the spending in money will help day to day activities go smoother as well as happy tenants knowing their concerns are being taken care of ASAP.

A few months ago repaired some balconies where rented a scissors jack to finish the work in two days. There are also booms which can go under areas. Had to spend around $180 for the half day safety course. Setting up scaffolds is time consuming which takes away the time to do the repairs. Most rental places rent this sort of equipment. Will also require a safety harness as well. A lot depends on how high where three to four stories is accomplished with this equipment --207.164.xxx.xxx |

The view from the cheap seats!
Since you have 400 units plus units and you want a system to help work orders for your handyman. OK now you find the best system to do better scheduling of work orders. HOWEVER it sounds like you have ONE handyman for over 400 units. It sounds like he is backed up with work orders and needs more hands to help him address the workload. He may hire contractors to do certain things for you and you may have to hire more techs to help with the work load. UNLESS your handyman is superman if so then you need to pay him more money because he is under paid with the workload he is trying to handle with over 400 units. --99.56.xx.xx |
