Can anyone refer any good claims adjuster to help us file
hurricane IRMA damage to our several properties.
How do they work? on upfront fee or percent of claims amount?
Someone said insurance companies raise premium if we file claim , next year.Is it true ?

the adjusters usually work on a percentage of what they get for you. Do insurance companies raise premiums when you file a claim? Hell yes. :) --23.30.xx.xxx |

I believe that when the insurers classify an event as a catastrophe (CAT) claim, then it doesn't count against you as a normal claim would.
Maybe someone with more insurance claims experience could expound on this more. --155.188.xxx.xx |
