I just saw an online news article that involved an Ex Tenant of several years ago. He tried calling in a bomb threat to get out of paying his restaurant bill. I guess once a dumb @ss always a dumb @ss.
What notoriety (good or bad) have any of your former Tenants gone on to?

I think it’s funny that my ex tenants moved out of my rental to move into the girl tenants mom’s house, only to not pay rent there either! And therefore are getting kicked out of there! I guess maybe they thought mommy would let rent slide but they thought wrong? So next they are going to mooch on living with a cousin lol. --50.81.xxx.xxx |

Had a guy we evicted along with his GF for non-payment of rent and flushing feminine products down the commode and refusing to pay the unclog bill.
I was searching our online court database and found he was charged with felony domestic assault...name of victim withheld. This was during the time he and GF were still residents. So he either beat up the GF or her kid (which was not his, btw).
Later I was searching one of those online "find anyone" sites, and found his record. His name was fairly unique and the record showed he had other associates in my town, so no doubt it was him. Status? "Deceased." --173.19.xx.xxx |

Former employee killed his girl friend for her SSI check,they found her months later rolled up in a carpet in his fathers basement,the house stunk so bad no body living there noticed the dead body odor.Tenant bought several lobster took them home and removed the meat then stuffed them with something to make it look right rewrapped it and took it back as a return. --72.231.xxx.xxx |

Now my most recent move out is still harassing me via email because I kept some security money from repairing the damage her rabbits did to the dining room tile. Dmv fraud. Over 50 felony counts.
Worked in the DMV as a driving tester, accepted 3-5k each from illegal immigrants wanting a driver's license.
Last I heard she was sentenced to over 30 years in the clink. Very sad situation. She is a single mom of 5 children.

Geez folks, At least non of you had lawyers.
I have one who started to tear down an rebuild houses. He has been at it for over ten years. Houses are nearly two million when he is finished.
Another joined a door company in Florida and now runs it. He was so good at it that he took over and expanded the company. I believe they are a powerhouse in their field.
Lots of them go on to get security clearance, so who knows what they do. Probably play darts and collect handsome pay stubs.
Lots of teachers and engineers. World Bank types too.

Had one years ago who ended up in prison as a sexual predator. He was very young when we had him as a tenant, maybe 18.
Another person lost her pharma license after being fired from two different local drugstores. The last one had a felony charge attached but she didn't end up going to jail. BOTH of her daughters ended up being strippers at the only strip club anywhere for hundreds of miles. We knew these girls from the age of 10 or so. A few years ago the mom actually called us and invited us to come watch them at the club....umm, no thanks! --173.22.xx.xx |

Our crappiest tenants took a program offered by the last administration in D.C. and got a deferred mortgage payments deal for their own home. They made a mess of our place, and two years later, got foreclosed on when they could not meet payments. I found the listing on a local foreclosure website - their own home was even worse than what they'd done in 2.5 years to my sfh!
I also had a woman who I turned down because of lack of sufficient employment history. Divorce situation, husband a police officer. Wife had a good job, but only got it just before applying. Several months later, the ex-husband shot himself in their former house just before the ex-wife and children arrived for their court-ordered visitation. Ex-wife was so distraught she couldn't work, and she and the kids wound up staying on with friends who had taken them in temporarily, for 9 months.
