Is the landlord aware of the situation? Maybe they aren't aware. Maybe they are lazy. Maybe they don't like confrontation. Maybe they can't find proof.
But once the LL is made aware it is up to them to investigate and make a decision. If not a good decision, perhaps you should look at finding a LL who will do what you need to and enforce their own policies.
If other tenants are also bothered by the smoking you and the rest could complain formally to the LL. More power in numbers. --136.32.xxx.xxx |

The wipe test does not lie, bill for seal/prime/paint room by room, here it costs about 250-300 per room and easily takes away what we charge is a double rent value deposit - 2 bd maybe gets something back after deep cleaning and refinishing. --76.188.xxx.xx |

If you are the tenant and don't want to actually report the smoker, try this. Figure out what time the tenant smokes and invite the LL over for some issue or just a cup of coffee and let him/her catch the smoker. --73.33.xxx.xxx |
