Anyone know an insurance company that will issues a Master Policy in Georgia?

I've heard that they are a lot easier to maintain and less expensive than individual policies.

The only Master Policies I am familiar with are options for communities. HOA's normally have a Master policy. I have never heard of one for residential rentals.

We have over 30 properties with State Farm and have never been told there is a limit. The rates are competitive with owner occupied if it even with $3m+ liability/property and they still are not that expensive. --75.181.xxx.xx

You could try doing standard insurance and take out an commercial umbrella for liability but if my memory is correct the umbrella is more expensive than the liability on individual properties.

I suggest you call a few insurance brokers in GA.and get some suggestions. --75.181.xxx.xx

Google HOA and Condo Master policies for a complete explanation but it is a commercial policy only available for communities. It protects the exterior of te building(s) and common areas and in some policies the common walls between adjoining units. Anything within the interior walls are covered by the individual owners. --75.181.xxx.xx

What you need is a commercial policy. Mine is with Acuity and saves me a ton of cash. They will inspect properties and you may not get cover on certain buildings due to age etc.. They are a top ten rated Mutal company available from independent brokers. Not sure if they are licensed for Georgia, but , definitely worth checking out. Great service great rates. --73.169.x.xx

Find a local independent agent. They may have several to choose from. I know Auto Owners offers one and Berkshire may offer one. The quotes I’ve gotten have been competitive but higher than my individual policies. --70.178.x.xx
