Hi Carlos.. So there is more to the story...please

take the keyboard off CAPS and give us the details

The guess would be that without water, the home is not habitable and unsanitary --162.247.xx.xx

Carlos,

Keep in mind this is a landlord forum, so you will get the landlord's perspective. However, we will do our best to help you understand the situation if you give more details on what all happened. --68.105.xxx.xxx

Um, Townships don't evict people--LLs do. Your LL must have a good reason to evict you. At one point you signed a contract. Do you still have your copy? Read it. Who is responsible for paying the water bill? Have you called the city water dept and asked what is going on?

I have never heard of any eviction that can be accomplished in 72 hours. Nothing happens that fast in anyone's court system. There is something def wrong here. There is a piece of information missing. (???) --108.87.xx.xxx

Not an eviction, but they can lock out for unhabitability reasons. --66.87.xx.xxx

According to the city clerk the MO state health dept doesn't consider water a necessary item. I picked up a house a couple weeks ago (tax sale over the counter) (SID you listening) and clerk told me the people living there doesn't own a sewer bill as they have no water. City called health dept and was told the people doesn't have to have water at the place, even with kids living there. --98.20.xxx.xxx
