State Specific Question About: CALIFORNIA (CA)
Any landlords here that are in the San Diego County , Ca area?
I'm looking for a Licence Roofing contractor.
Boy, I can't even get a call back!
I need an over lay.
Roof is good except singles are getting bare.
I've even tried Home Depot & Lowe's.
Oh my, those two said their warranty require a complete roof replacement that is not needed.
Please advise what I can do besides calling.
Thanks,

I'm in OC not SD, but I've found HD & Lowe's too expensive. Get a copy of REI club news letter for roofer ads. Up here I call around to AAOC roofer list & also "The End Result" a contractor paid for recommending referral service specializing in high quality contractors. I also query my LL network for their references.
Good luck. --47.156.x.xxx |

Karin, the best way is to find a roofing supply company close to where you live and from whom you'll buy the material from.ask them for the name of a good roofer.should work.Charlie................................. --174.199.x.xx |

Have a man call and leave the message. Many times the contractor's wife is the one who takes the messages off the answering machine. If she hears a nice female voice she may not give your name and phone number to her husband. This happens more often if the husband has already strayed. Get a man to call and you will get a callback. --73.33.xxx.xxx |

Thank all of you for your replies.
To Alley,
Actually my husband's is the one handing the search & calls.
We're just not getting responses.
I just don't understand the lack of call backs.
Maybe they're tenants, haha.
I get what you're saying about a female voice, but I'm usually mistaken for a man on the phone.
