I am a landlord in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale area) and would like some assistance in opening a self directed IRA.

Where? Bank or agent?

I used to use a giant company in Ohio but they make frequent errors with my money, once by $80,000 and just recently by $4500, along with numerous paperwork errors.

Another vote for Mike Todd at IRA Innovations. Excellent customer service. My biggest pet peeve with them was that they couldn't accept ACH payments, but I believe they can do that now. --204.210.xxx.xxx

I have a few properties that I purchased with 401K.
