I'd normally expect an increase if you paid utilities... ie, the difference between 1 person's water usage versus 2 people's water usage. If this is a long term tenant, I wouldn't do a thing. I just went through this with a 3 year guy, he wanted to bring in his girlfriend. I completely trust this tenant, always perfect with everything. I told him to being her in, but I would rather not put her on the lease, if I did that then if something happened between them, well I could lose him, and end up with her.
