Do you think the lead based paint will soon include all homes, even new construction?
Reason being many, many new homes have "reclaimed" elements in them. The old barn doors, old stained glass windows as a decoration are all being added to new construction homes. Depending on where and when these materials are acquired, a lot of houses could potentially have lead based paint in them!
What about when the carpenter cuts the barn door with the paint on it to make it a custom size? He is cutting and the sawdust is flying everywhere!
I know it is not the same as lead based paint on operating windows but do any of you see this as a problem in the future with government regulations?
Just something to ponder.

Even when you follow the wrap-it-up lead worker rules it still comes back - how? The cats or coons get into the trash and rip things up, the dog chases the coons and the cat hops in while they are away, so the cats and dogs track it around, how many kids kiss the dog? or cat? and where do the pets sleep? Bubbles, to set your mind at ease,when I was doing my apprenticeship to the trades back in Northern Ireland I spent Six weeks mixing liquid lead into paint to make it more durable,that was sixty some years ago,I'm still here.and I would say I'd be able to go head to head with any of the goody goody two shoes and beat them at their own philosophy.Your worrying too much about nothing,I've eaten more sawdust than most people have eaten breakfast.........................Charlie....................... --174.199.xx.xxx |
