Just put an offer in on a property that of course is advertised for sale on Zillow. I'm worried that if the deal goes through, I won't be able to list at at Zillow the day after closing, because the real estate agency's ad is still up.
Anybody have experience with this? I tried to write into the contract that the seller's agent would take down all MLS and other portal listings, but they wouldn't agree to it. They said they have no control on when this happens after they report the property as sold.
I need to be able to get this listed for rent on Zillow ASAP after I close. Not sure how this works. Does anyone know?

David - I know the ad would indicate pending if the contract is accepted. My concern is after the property closes and I own it, will I immediately be able to advertise it for rent at Zillow (ie, Postlets - Trulia, Hotpads, etc.)?
