I had 2 eviction cases from the same property at the same time at the beginning of 2017. Today I received 2 checks at $100 each referencing those cases. YIPPPPPPPPEEEEEE.
I didn't check my records yet but as I recall I paid the standard single occupant filing fee of approximately $140. I definitely don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth but do any of my fellow PA LLs have any idea why I received some money back (if the original filing fee payment was correct)?

Happens most times I file. Maybe they didn't use some of it for something. I deposit it and go about my day. --174.201.x.xxx |

if you file for possession and then cancel it, the constable refunds his fee through the magistrate. --72.95.xx.x |

I am surprised to learn that the fees vary a little bit at each DJ office depending on where the place is that they have to serve. I am thinking the constable gets paid mileage --24.239.xx.xxx |
