Realized it's less than a month before we have to file 2016 LLC taxes, and two months for personal stuff (which is not much for us!)

Spent today pulling together all the numbers to turn over to CPA.

I have no idea what we are facing. I never do. :(

Anybody else just now facing it? I can't even remember yesterday, let alone last year. Good thing I keep good records! --173.22.xx.xx

Yup, mine are half done... still a pile of papers to figure out. I am also hoping for some tax reform passing through congress for this or next year. I like to think optimistically. --96.236.xx.xx

Did mine in March and April. No reason to delay.

My goal for 2017 is to have them done in early February --66.87.xxx.xxx

I figure I need to give the CPA a month, but yes, it's more than two months before the REAL THING is due. --173.22.xx.xx

We've been there and done that before. We finally got "caught" up with tax preparation and payments in 2016. It's a lot less stressful and easier to remember what happened the prior year when you prepare earlier.

Good luck and hope it works out well for you! --73.236.xxx.xxx

I don't mind doing them late in the year. My biggest reason is I do like the CPA to have a LITTLE more time to go over them instead of trying to reach that April 15th deadline with everyone else.

The last few years we have been doing a "trial run" at the end of the year, so we have an idea of what we are facing. But nothing's final until it's final! --173.22.xx.xx

No reason to file in April if can do in October. No prizes for filing 4.15. Just have to pay estimated taxes by then. that leeway can work both ways. --166.137.xxx.xxx

End of the month the folks in Pa will be ENJOYING paying school taxes. Paying $50,000 in these taxes wouldn't be so painful, if I had kids. I don't.

I am thinking about going on Ebay or Amazon and purchasing some. That said there are plenty of tenants that would be more than willing to just give theirs. That is when I realize why I don't have any of my own kids. --24.239.xx.xxx
