Received an application today - nice guy, nice dog. Said he had a DUI 2 years ago.
However on Facebook, in May 2017, he states, "Going to Jail!" and then all sort of people chime in, including his wife (soon to be ex, I hear) and MIL (also soon to be ex.)
Wife says probation has been violated 4 times already. Said he got 5 days in jail. Said he will probably violate it again. MIL chimes in, "WHAT? You guys moved there to make a fresh start! I taught you better than that - you need to take care of YOURSELF." (thus the divorce I guess!)
Oh and friends chime in, "He's been through worse!"
I think I know enough, thank you Facebook! --173.22.xx.xx |

I LOVE social media and all the information you can find, like when they skip out and owe you money and then brag and post about the new job!!! Bet they wonder how I get them served at work and wages garnished!!! LOL People can be so stupid!! --73.210.xxx.xx |

Nice work!
Ever since I added social media to my screening criteria, I think it has caused me to deny more applicants than all other criteria except lack of sufficient, verifiable income. --173.19.xx.xxx |

How do you find THEIR Facebook page? I know I am very unknowledgeable about this, but would like to be able to use it for screening also. I searched FB for a prospect & got hundreds of possibilities. What is the best way to narrow it down & find the page/person you want? --68.105.xxx.xxx |

DJ (VA) use their mobile phone number in the search. --73.34.xxx.xx |

I live at the beach. When I get duplicates, I look for background photos with water or fish in them. 99% of the time, that works for me. :)
If it doesn't I ask them to friend ME on Facebook (using a different ID than the on I use personally.) Yes they could then run delete something incriminating. Most don't. And they can't delete all their FRIENDS' posts which are often very telling. --173.22.xx.xx |
