I am currently picking up my rents monthly and considering using an automated tool.
Has anyone heard of rentific.com?
If so, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

I hadn't heard of it until now, but it looks interesting. One thing that I would say I'm not too high on is that the tenant still has to do something to make the payment. I collect rent electronically via ACH through my local bank. Tenant agrees to have rent withdrawn electronically on the due date. I set up the withdrawal, so the tenant has to do nothing besides have money in their account. There is a cost for this, so depending upon the number of units you have it may not be a good fit for you. --69.7.xxx.xx |

Take a look at the bank, slowly - you see they are built for handling money, guards, cameras, guns. Now look at the manager of your places, you see helpful person to look at leaky toilet sound, the person who labeled all the breaker functions, the person who may be running the mower and washing windows when the renter moves out and fails to clean the unit up like it was at movein time - you pay them for generic but important duties, let the banks handle the money. --76.188.xxx.xx |
