This is regarding the wire without the ground. Say my plugs are in order of 1, 2, 3, 4. The wire between plugs 2 & 3 is what's missing the ground. Are you saying put a GFI in the position of plug #2 and a normal plug on position 3? If that works, that will save a TON of work! Thanks.
