As a confirmed podcast addict, and fan of all things MP3, I burn through several hours of content a day. I am always on the lookout for new podcast. I used to listen to a podcast about real estate investing, but it dropped off my list, after each episode just turned into an infomercial for the guys company. I was just thinking it may be time to add REI podcast to my list.

Does anyone have a REI podcast that they like, and can recommend?

I tried at least one REI podcast today. I wasn't that impressed. I'm not sure what I'm looking for but I tire of people trying to sell me a "system". Either I'm too skeptical or their too confident....I honestly don't know which. :)

lol. Hey Patty. A podcast is basically a "radio program" of any show or personality that you can imagine, that you download into your music management program (Itunes for me)and listen to at your convenience. The best news...They are all free. (and mostly, commercial free)

I am a huge NPR fan, so my list is mostly NPR programs that are released as a podcast.

I would suggest that you go to Itunes and explore, or just type in a show you like followed by podcast. You can listen to most shows on their webpage.

I use a little Ipod shuffle clipped to my shirt collar ($45...WalMart) and listen to podcast and music as I work.

My #1 rule....if the ipod battery dies...time to go home. ;)

'How I built this' is a recent one, for me. I have enjoyed it, but I can't help but think, while listening.....If this guy can do it...anybody can. lol. They seem to gloss over the venture capital money portion, every time. It's still inspiring though.

If you get a chance, you should binge listen through the S-town series - I enjoyed the mental rollercoaster ride. As a LL you can really appreciate the plethora of personality types.

Also the Serial podcast was awesome!
