State Specific Question About: GEORGIA (GA)

What is the best insurance to carry if I only own 1-5 rentals? Currently, the units are riding under my own homerowners insurance. Thanks. --66.87.xxx.xxx

You should have fire & liability on each of the units, with an umbrella for all. Not all insurance co will allow 5 rental umbrella coverage. I had 3M GEICO on a 5 waiver for several years but then the underwriter required 2 be in an LLC title. In Ca that's a 1600/year cost, so I got a different insurance co. --47.156.xx.xxx
