What is the current flat % rate for property management company of 30 unit building. We pay vendors. They do everything else as collect rents, arrange repairs. 4% 6% 10% ? --68.96.xx.xxx |

I can't speak to CA but in Wisconsin the fee is about 10% of gross rents plus charges for showing, re-renting, maintenance, etc. --72.128.xxx.xx |

It varies. More important than rate is getting set up with a good one, which is nearly impossible. I've paid 8% and 10%. My 8% company looks to be much greater than the 10% company. Make sure you can opt out of any management agreement with 10 to 30 days notice max - you'll need this if your management company turns terrible on you.
