Is the former tenant a landlord now? there is a large piece of this puzzle missing, the tenants listed on the lease have to served and court processed then you can legally post the judgement to the credit agencies however most landlords who screen would see this in a background check without going to the credit agencies - just follow the address from the drivers licence into dockets in those cities/counties. --76.188.xxx.xxx |

Vee: No he is not a landlord....as if.
I wanted to know if anyone in WISC has ever garnished the CURRANT landlord for the (previously mine, but now his) tenant's security deposit.
Legally, the security deposit remains the tenants money until such time that the landlord either returns it or uses it for damages. The landlord is only "holding" it. --24.241.xxx.xx |
