State Specific Question About: NEW YORK (NY)
Help , I haven't bought a property in many years. I am looking to borrow 400k for 30 yr fixed. I called my two bankers today and they both gave me the run around .
I have one simple question to help me see if I want to go forward . What will be the total bank fees at the closing for a non commercial loan for $400 k . It could also be 4 separate !00k 's as well. Thanks --98.5.xxx.xxx |

Look on their website, call again and just say you are shopping for a bank loan, what do they offer and what are the cost associated with the loan. --184.206.xx.x |

what are you purchasing? one building or four? on the surface, something isn't right.
Lenders generally won't give you four loans on one property. They also won't give you one loan to cover four properties. Maybe a little local bank.
costs are ALL over the place. If you buy your rate down, how much of a down payment you have, if you use a national vendor management company rather than a local settlement agent, who pays your title insurance, etc. --72.70.xxx.xxx |

Costs are all over the place, it depends on what kind of loan your going for and where its from.
It sounds like you want a blanket loan on 4 separate properties. Those are portfolio loans and vastly different animals than a $400k mortgage on a $700k residential house. --67.82.xxx.xx |
