In 1978 they stopped using lead based paint. If your house was built on or before 1978, you should give them a pamphlet. Google it and you should be able to find a TREC form regarding lead based paint. --99.125.xxx.xxx

Google Lead Base Paint Pamphlet. Print out a pdf of it. Yes you need to give them that print out and have them sign a paper that they received it. Hand them a disclosure form for Lead Paint, Asbestos and Mold. Give them the pamphlet too. It's the law. EPA will go after you full force if the tenant ever complain, even years after moving out. Go on the EPA site and you can print those pamphlets. --67.236.xxx.xx
