State Specific Question About: MISSOURI (MO)
I have read many time about '3 day pay or quit' on this forum.
Lots of information on line for CA but not MO
I've tried to find reference to it in the Missouri Statutes but haven't been able to find anything.
Has anyone in Missouri used this and could direct me to the statute? Thanks.

I'm told it's not necessary (don't quote me ) but i provide it anyways. It's nice, friendly way to warn someone of their actions and i believe the Judge likes to see it. What's going on ? --66.87.xx.xx |

Forget the "three day" part of it. That is state specific. Other states have other time periods specified. MO does not have a specific time set forth, so you can give a 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 day notice. You can google "MO Notice To Pay Or Quit."
You are required to make demand for payment. The normal form is something along the lines of: "You haven't paid the rent that was due on June 1, 2016. You owe $1,000 in rent for June 2016. Pay the rent in full by June 15, 2016 or I will evict you."
