State Specific Question About: INDIANA (IN)
I have an As Is fixer upper (left in this condition by an old RE partner who also left me with over 8k in liens) that I want to sell to a cash buyer. A contractor give me an estimate on total repairs, which is in the 35k - 40k range, of which a portion of that was to repair the roof. The overall budget is too much for me, but I could swing the roof alone, if I had to. Wondering folks thoughts on whether to proceed with the roof repair if I am looking to sell as is. Obviously it could make the house more appealing, but generally on an as is, is it worth it to spend the money? --104.148.xxx.xxx |

I wouldn't repair the roof. Discount the asking price and find someone who wants to take on a total rehab project. --73.146.xxx.xxx |
