I'm an HVAC tech, so I cobble some stuff together for my rentals.
I'd put a used R22 condenser on that puppy and rent on.
In your shoes, I'd likely go ahead and put the 410a system in. The extra expense can easily be worth it. You can likely change out just the indoor coil instead of the entire air handler. Make sure the line set is either replaced or properly purged. 410a higher efficiency systems frequently require a larger suction line, so you may have to replace it anyway. --141.129.x.xx |

Unless you change the indoor and at least flush the lines you would have to retain r22 which is ok, you should find a used one similar in physical size and transplant your pump inside to replace the coil and box. if you cant find someone to do this have them get you a price for the outdoor unit and apply it to the new system. --76.188.xxx.xxx |
