State Specific Question About: COLORADO (CO)
If i have a 3yr old signed document from manager at mobile home park, saying i can park a trailer in my driveway..but that manager doesn't work here any longer..new manager states I have to pay fee and move to their RVLot..showed documentation. .new manager says old manager did have authority and document isn't good anymore. Is this true??? 3 yrs later?? --24.8.xxx.xx |

The document is fine 3 years later, but what seems to be in contention is, what does it mean?
Did the document say that you may park in the driveway FOREVER? and without any fee?
I know that mobile property law is often different from Real Property law, but I don't know anything about it, or about CO.
Under real (fixed) property law, a MTM rental agreement can usually be modified by 30 days notice, so that the manager could resolve this problem by serving you with a notice of Change in Terms, that you have to pay a fee and move to RV lot. He would have that right.

Renee,
New boss, new rules.
Sounds like the manager gave you notice to comply.
You got 3 years of free storage but that is not longer available.
Might be able to get them to honor the most recent lease renewal
BUT
you'll be seen as a trouble maker.
My guess is they are trying to keep the park neat and clean - ALWAYS a huge challenge!
