I just rented a single family house with the requirement the tenants get renters insurance with our LLC as additionally insured.
The renter got the insurance policy and gave a copy of the policy but claimed they could not add the LLC to the policy because the premium would be double the price.
What should I do? Should I make a big deal out of it?
Currently, she is paying extra deposit payments for $166 until June. Should I enforce she adds our LLC on the policy after June? --108.226.xxx.xx |

I would be satisfied that they have renters insurance. --184.11.xx.xxx |

First what is a 166 deposit payment? have the manager named as -interested party- this way when the payment is delinquent the manager will get a notice and can get in contact with renter, this reads like another demise of the llc program. --76.188.xxx.xxx |

You want to be listed as additional interest. This will make sure you are notified in case the policy is cancelled. You do not need to be an additional insured. --75.149.xx.x |
