State Specific Question About: SOUTH CAROLINA (SC)

I recently sold one of my properties and it still have a tenant who is leaving at the end of the year. The new buyers agree to let them stay until then my question is my closing is Nov 30th so the tenant will pay the new buyer the rent Who is responsible for giving back the security deposit is it me or the new buyers? The tenants will be getting all of it back as long as they clean (These was great tenants reason for leaving is relocation) They kelp the house in great condition I think with the that and staging of there furniture the house sold in 7 days. Faster then we thought it would because it is getting cold outside.
