I have been getting phone calls from people who are supposedly looking for an apartment. They are not local, I never put my phone number on Craigslist and they call when I'm not even looking for a new tenant ?
I don't understand what they are trying to pull!
Just got off the phone with another one...she said she could afford $5000/month! Really?
What's the deal?

A lot of these callers are scammers looking to send you a NSF cheque so they can get access to your bank account. Had one email which was Nigeria where they asked for my credit card number and limit. Emailed back that everyone here is aware of those scams from Nigeria. No further reply end of story. Tell them any transactions are only done with people one meets in person along the cheque has to be certified where money is removed from the account. When it sounds to good to be true then more then likely it is. CL has a lot out of country replies where will never give out any information. --74.220.xxx.xxx |
