State Specific Question About: TEXAS (TX)

Have any Texas landlords done this? I would like my tenant to remedy the situation or leave.

I posted here a few weeks ago about my long term tenant who had moved in a helper to assist in her moving - he has been there for months now.

I spoke with her and he filled out an application form. He has not much income (SSI, Disability) but I want him on the lease. I sent them the addendum and she texts me that he does not want to go on the lease and be liable for anything!!

She is paying rent so no issue there but the house looks like they are hoarding (his stuff is obviously there). She wants to move but is trying to sell stuff to get enough money - she told me a year ago she would like to move but doesn't seem to be doing anything about it.

Is a Notice to Perform Covenant the correct way to proceed?

Thanks all. --173.74.xxx.xxx

After a little more research I think I need a Cure or Quit notice?

Any info would be appreciated. Thank you. --173.74.xxx.xxx
