A licensed process server. Here in Los Angeles the Sheriff charges around $35 pluss and a private process server will charge from $75 to $100. --173.55.xxx.xx |

Why? Make the sherieff do it. That is part of your court fees, so make them earn it. Plus, at court, there is no "did they get proper notified.?"

Sometimes the eviction notice can not get served quick enough so I have to wait another week before the court date. I was wanting to see the cost of getting it served quickly so I can get to court within 10 or less days. --73.208.xxx.xxx |

Goshen, Superior Court 4 versus Superior Court 5 in Elkhart, usually get you in quicker. I had a problem this past week. I called on Monday then again on Tuesday. I was told both time if I came in I could have a court date of 08/21/2015. My mistake was I did not get the name of the female I talked to. When I went in there less than 2 hours I was told they would not enough time to serve the tenant before the court date of 08/21/2015. I have a court date of 08/28/2015.
Currently in Superior Court 4 the judge is Gretchen Lund. Very nice an helpful. Superior Court 5 has Charles Wicks.
