99.9% chance yes. Someone owns that property and it is not you. They have a right to make sure the property is being kept up and that you are abiding by the terms of your lease, which probably includes a lot of things that cannot be observed unless a person is INSIDE the property. Typically, a manager gives notice according to state law / your lease terms and then enters at the appointed time.

Monthly seems like a bit of overkill to me--I do once per season (4 total/year)...but again as long as proper notice is given they have every right to enter.

If you want 100% privacy, purchase a home. --173.16.xxx.xxx

I would think that they do monthly inspections until they are sure you are "complying with the program". Once they believe you are "on board" they will probably go to quarterly then ???? They want to be sure that you are following the program. once they believe you are complying with the program they will lighten up.

Good luck --76.247.xxx.xx

Kimberly,

Great question.

If I had time to do inspections monthly my residents would get better service. We do 2-3 times per year.

I could catch problems quicker, change furnace filters so their furnce/ac would run most efficiently and reduce their utility bills, and treat to keep bugs out.

If these are true INSPECTIONS for safety and maintenance, not harrassment or nosey-ness, be thankful they are caring for the property.

Proper care of houses and apartments takes a lot of work.

Also, review your situation and cleanliness. Is there any reason management might be concerned if you are a good resident. (Noise, cleaning, pets, smoking, too many guests...

If this helps, I think it's reasonable to ask the inspector only enter when you are present. Please use basic safety such as not being alone with the inspector.
