We are a smaller business and I have never had a company from a differing state inquire for an employee who wants to temporarily reside within our properties.
We are already month-to-month and the company seems legitimate, just not sure as if there's a different way I sign the Lease?
Would I just sign it with the employee or should I add an amendment somewhere for liability on the company?

The company is out-of-state. Be sure that you know how to sue them from IA.

I would rent to the employee and let the company reimburse the employee and keep the business out of it. --96.42.xxx.xxx |

We had an inquiry from a church that wanted our property to house members that come on short-term stints. They stressed the church would pay the rent.
Although it didn't work out for other reason, we had decided that we would do it but that the church would agree to provide us with essentially a completed application, with all the details about the proposed occupants that a normal applicant would provide, each time they changed occupants. We also thought we would have the new occupants sign an addendum to the lease - somehow showing that they would abide by all the terms and conditions, INCLUDING rent if it was not paid as agreed by the church. --50.82.xxx.x |

Make your Rental Agreement be with the tenant. If they pay, they stay. If they behave, they stay. Getting a third party involved is just messy. --166.137.xxx.xxx |
