I'm struggling with this also. I have Liberty Mutual for my personal residence and 4 rental properties... they go up every year or so by $100-150 per year each. Its getting rediculous. I've been told that they automatically increase the value every year to account for inflation. I talked to one agent and told me to consider commercial insurance, but they didnt call back.
Who do the MA LL's use

Probably all the palaver on the news about Global Warming creating larger storms.
I guess they didn't hear about the El Nino keeping the hurricanes from coming near this year.

My insurance for my 4 unit went up 12.5% this year with no claims. I believe you have to switch insurance carriers every few years otherwise you will always pay more. --64.121.xxx.xxx |
