LTD, that place has been declining due to extensive political blindness involving agency on top of agency to align common sense with overseas investments - the cycle feeds itself on the notion of providing everyone an equal share of anything (then next thing discovered unequal will be the name of another agency), these agencies each need funding so there is a tax involved to support each of these mystery helplessness agencies and media will be involved claiming to have an -open oversight- once the rules have been published, the media needs funding as well so they go to the company that makes something the homemaker could make but perhaps they like the commercially made version better so it is advertised on the media outlet and the manufacturing company likes this exposure so they pay the media central for the time used to broadcast and then the homemaker suddenly discovers the price jumped so they run to the politician claiming unfair price fixing and another agency is needed to investigate the advertiser and the manufacturer, the manufacturer may need to hire a lawyer to entertain the visiting inspectors explaining that the ignition switch was never meant to hold a keychain as heavy as a dry cleaning bag but the inspector shows photos of many homemakers with earings and keychains as large as drycleaning bags and explains to the manufacturing lawyer that drycleaning bag sizes are community accepted standards as shown and even though these keychains are heavy the folks who purchased the car with the allegedly faulty ignition switch have also a community standard of being helpless and do not take value in diet or exersize so the fitness required to navigate an automobile with a loss of powered steering will render them dangerous drivers, the inspector shows the manufacturing lawyer a sign on the side of the car that says -power steering- and asks for an explanation of this advertisement, suddenly a drone flys overhead with a red blinking lite to remind the lawyer his time has expired and she/he will need to open a thorough investigation of these ignition switches so he reports to the folks in washington dc there is a switch installed in the vehicle with power steering that turns off the steering unless an athlete is behind the wheel when this occurs.
