If you are on the fence about attending the MrLL convention this May, here are some reasons Pookie and I are glad we have been every year since 2011…

Learned how professional LLs operate and screen and stopped “just filling our places with any warm body”

Met tons of wonderful like minded folks that talk like us.

Pookie retired from her 9-5 J.O.B. last fall on her 39th birthday… Stay at home mom, Pebbles and Bam Bam (AND Dad) LOVE IT!

Our family has never been happier since our cashflow is up and stress level is WAY down (see first reason!)

Gave us the tools to start our own LL association, Jeffery gave us FREE door prizes to jump start it, THANK YOU Jeffery!

Pooke’s 5 year plan developed and blossomed after only a year and a half.

Pebbles and Bam Bam think it’s cool Dad attends “Millionaire School”

Staying in a beautiful hotel is always fun and it’s a business deduction

Using ideas from folks that have been there, done that and keeps our focus on our goals.

Did I mention we have made some great friends that think like us.

I have been to court less and less every year after learning better screening procedures.

You may win a FREE CRUISE!

Listening to Brad screaming FREEDOM!!! While standing on a chair. It’s a blast!

Our portfolio has grown…

Our PROFITS have grown…

Did I mention Pookie is home now and our house is WAY MORE Happier!?!

Being able to read on Friday mornings to Pebble’s and Bam Bam’s classes.

Going topless in the Freedom Jeep!

Attending Reds games on a sunny Wednesday afternoon

What would you be able to do if profits were WAY up and stress level down?!?

Landlord up!

Unfortunate timing. Why not schedule for May 24,25,26 , the three non-work days of that weekend? --165.207.x.xxx

Okay, Lee, you brought up a $26,000 boost...what was the tip and how did you implement it? If it's RTO, never mind.

David, this is not a hobby. It's work. The people speaking are working, the people listening are working. We don't want to work on the holiday weekend! --207.114.xxx.xxx

I too have a day job but the convention

is important to me so I take the time off

to attend. I drive down to Nashville and like the fact that I get some time with my family when I get back. The schedule as it currently is works for me.

So Lee what was the tip that helped you gain such an excellent increase? SID and I want to know. :-) Maybe it's proportional and I didn't miss it or heaven forbid I did miss something - there was a lot of good information last year. --66.87.xxx.xxx

I think Boot Camps are over a weekend? Those are WELL worth the time and effort and money! --207.114.xxx.xxx

I am looking forward to "Millionaire School" too!

I agree with WMH, I enjoy it like a little mini vacation but it is more like work than going to the park with your family. I think people enjoy having Sunday and/or Monday off to spend with the family. Also gives you time to get home if you do have to work on Monday.

Now I just need to figure out how to get my wife to go :) --74.129.xxx.xxx

Lee,

Good stuff! I'm getting fired up!

The winners don't care what day it's on! We'll be there!

(I think ya'll are looking a little flushed...maybe it's the 3 day flu - starting May 22!)

Let's see...I make $xxx per day at work. One tip from convention made Lee $26,000. $26,000 divided by 3 days = $8,666.66 per day!

I'll back up Lee's deal - I did the same with the same vendor and made some cold hard cash - not as much a Lee's but at least 4 figures.

At one seminar I learned one tip that gave me $147,000. Glad I did not care what day I took a personal day from work! What if I'd made excuses and stayed home.

It's NEVER convenient! It separates the wannabes from the doers. --67.175.xx.xxx

Any little idea can be used all year long if you know what it is, I can hear the freedom horn out in the distance and it is coming closer!

I did find a problem with the guitar - while hibernating in the ocean liner hull the g-string (yes this is the skinny string and now you know how the ladywear got the nickname!) key will not hold the setting, so it is a 5 string now. --75.94.xxx.xxx

Brad, you've been out of the work force too long. It's not just about $. With a full time job you can't just take off whenever you want, especially on a weekend when lots of others also want to take off. --165.207.x.xxx

David - going to the Convention is how to learn how to get OUT of the work force!

Take vacation days. If not this year, put in for next year NOW so you can be first in line to ask for the days off. --75.161.x.xxx

David,

I have been in the work force since I was 16 so I know where you're coming from. The best thing is to plan as far ahead in advance as you can, in the end you only have to take off two work days to attend the convention. I am working a full day Wed and then driving up (flying would be just as easy other than cost) and coming back late Saturday.

If you have a hard time getting off but want to go then make a request further in advance for next year. You have to do what you can to make it work if that's what you want to do.

I went last year and am glad I did, it was another step in my education and confidence building and I am really looking forward to it this year also. --10.5.xx.xxx

But David, (friend to friend prodding) You just said OTHER people take those days off, so it IS possible.

Golden birdcage: they keep us locked inside with a paycheck. They keep telling us the outside world is too dangerous. THEY will protect us (until they boot us to the curb!).

Most employers have sick days, personal days, vacation days, maybe flex time...

True, I HAVE been out of the workforce (I LOVE saying that!!) a long time. Attending inconvenient seminars, trading babysitting with a neighbor to watch our kids, standing at phone booths in the rain to return job customer calls so I got MOST of my work done that day (before email and cellphones), driving thru the night because the seminar was in a different state, sleeping in my car because I did not have money for a motel...

helped me retire at 41. Have not had a job for 18 years.

FREEDOM!!! is soooo sweet.

It does not come easy - or everyone would do it. --67.175.xx.xxx
