If you own a mobile home that you rent out in a mobile home park you can deduct the lot rent cant you?I m paying $430 a month.. I need to find some land to put it on for that kind of money any selling around Denton ,Sanger,Krum?

are you paying the pad rent? is it your business expense?
for example rent is $700 and you take part of that and pay the paid rent, that is a business expense to you.
or rent is $700-$430= $270 and that is all they pay you($270), tenant is paying the pad rent, not your deduction.

Goodness, 430 a month for a lot? That is pretty significant property value...
Look for a small piece of land big enough for 2-4 nice little lots for MHs... The infrastructure for these units will cost but the installation can be staggered a little to reduce up front costs.

Thanks eveyone,I appreciate your feedback.I will check out that land in Krum. I would like to open my own mobile home park, a small one.
I pay the lot rent out of the rent money the tenants pay me.$700.00 $430 goes to lot rent.It keeps going up .
