State Specific Question About: MAINE (ME)
Do any of you do your own taxes? I can get all the expenses per category in order, but is there a program that calculates depreciation, etc.?
Or, what is the cheapest way to hire them done? My current tax guy charges only $150 (and it takes him about an hour) but he is in poor health so he might not be doing it much longer.
I own 12 rental properties (houses and mobile homes), so the going rate would typically be about $700 for all.

I use TurboTax. The program tracks depreciation each year. If your return is fairly simple and depreciation is your only concern, you could create a worksheet in Excel to calculate the correct amounts. --68.46.xxx.xxx |
