My husband and I only have income from interest income and several rental properties. After deducting all our expenses, depreciation etc. we only show a very small net rental income each year of maybe around $10,000 (and some years a loss). When we apply for a loan, they qualify us by adding back the depreciation which then shows more real income. Anyway does any one know how to calculate the new modified adjusted gross income for the purpose of qualifying for credits for the Obama Health insurance? I called my accountant and he doesnt know? From what I have been reading it seems like we may qualify for Medicaid or credits, because we dont have to add back the depreciation. But this cant be right? Am I reading something wrong? If any one knows, any help would be appreciated.

that is the number you want to enter to find out what your health insurance cost.
