State Specific Question About: NEW YORK (NY)
Does anyone know of a good, quick and complete rental application I can get on line. I would like to give it to my broker to pre qualify prospective tenants. It would save time for everyone. The form/ application would contain all the pertinent information as well as auth for a background check and credit report.
Thank you for your help.

Your broker should have this. If they don't they should not be managing rental property and should stick with buying and selling. Managing property takes a unique skill set. Most state real estate boards prohibit agents from practicing in the areas of real estate where they don't have the skills. Your broker is skating on thin ice. --75.160.xxx.xxx |

Hi Ray,
There is a free sample rental application available under "rental Forms" on this site. You can also find dozens of other state specific from that can be purchased. Your broker may want to have his attorney review these forms before you use them. You may also want to visit Findlaw.com if you are looking for additional forms that you don't find here.
Good Luck! --67.242.xx.xxx |

Yes, on here or in Staples, etc ... and unless you are telling your broker that you want to use your own application, they should have one if they've done this before for sure.
If they want your business, they should be looking - not you. --74.78.xxx.xxx |

Ray, I'm with BillS - if you have to ask, this is the wrong broker.
Most real estate sales brokers don't know diddly about property management.
