I have gotton my decision from the court in Garfield Hts ohio to evict my tenant. They need to be out by 9/27/13. I'm trying to find info. on the process to deal with them if they don't leave. Garfield doesnt have anything on their website specific to this process. Anyone have any experience with the "move out" process in Garfield Hts.? When do I notify the baliff to force them out? What can I do with their stuff they leave behind (trash, storage)? thanks for your help. State Specific Question About: OHIO (OH)

Now with the court order go back to get the writ of restitution, this should cost another 15-30bux - this is the instruction to the sheriff that they may be needed to enforce the court order, follow the court order on property setout - who can do it? Be well rested up in case you are the one, bring heavy trash bags for the food that will be spoiled and new locks - there is no reason to communicate with the tenants once you hire the court to take over. --75.94.xxx.xxx |

Thanks. So when can I go to back to the court and say "Baliff please come and get them out"? The move out day is Friday, but on another communication from the court it says they do move outs on Monday. So do I have to go there on Monday morning or can I do it anytime after Friday? Also do you know if in Garfield Hts I have to store their stuff for any amount of time or I can just move it to the curb? thanks again, GD --199.52.xx.xxx |

I am just one street west of you, my cousin sold her garfield place 6 years ago when the eviction rates went over 250bux. You gotta know your judge, get the writ to activate the sheriff, they do nothing until you light the candle for them to see the clock. The sheriff may have some moving-storage info for you. --107.218.xx.xxx |
