Hi, I have a 2 family house with Central Air and furnaces. Does anyone know any good HVAC heating and cooling companies that I can sign a service contract with to maintain and possible replace when the time comes to upgrade the units? Or should I just go with PSEG?

Also are there any other utility company choices for electric and gas in North NJ besides PSEG?

Thanks.

Don't really have an answer for your main question but will say that utility companies service plans are notoriously over priced. When you think about it, the companies don't do the work they just hire subs to do the work and collect a markup. Better to find other local landlords (landlord association) and ask them who they use. --75.160.xxx.xxx

If you're looking for them to cover costs of replacing parts, etc., let me know what company you find to honor that kind of service contract!

I thought with PSE&G that you had to use them to install the equipment in order to retain their warranty? Regardless, I've actually heard good things about PSE&G for their replacement program and when parts break that they are quick to repair...

Personally, I maintain my units myself, and just call in the pro when it's something that is beyond basic troubleshooting. Figure I save in the long run since routine maintenance is fairly easy to do. --216.139.xxx.xxx
