State Specific Question About: TEXAS (TX)
I have a green mold like substance growing on the brick on some of my first floor window ledges. Any suggestions on what to do. I have solar screens installed and they are not easily removed therefore, I am reluctant to pressure wash the mold, alien life form. Any suggestions? --98.196.xx.xxx |

Try a squirt bottle containing bleach followed up by a light water rinse. If it is mold it should wash off. --208.127.xx.xxx |

A cup of bleach in warm water, every time the sewer snake person comes this fixes all those mildew type problems, in the south it is the Katrina fixer, works great in showers and anywhere you have extra moisture from lack of ventilation. --75.94.xxx.xxx |

To fix any kind of mold related problem I mix
1/3 hydrogen peroxide
1/3 white vinegar
1/3 water
Put this mix into an inexpensive garden sprayer and saturate mold/green slime.
That should fix it. --24.60.xx.xxx |

Suzanne,
Green = algae. Bleach or peroxide as recommended above. --50.129.xxx.xxx |
