State Specific Question About: WYOMING (WY)
I'm looking for a new property insurance policy for a 1904 4 plex in Cheyenne, WY. My premiums went from 1100 to 3800 which seems ridiculous. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your time. --71.215.xx.xxx |

The insurance market is hardening. Many carriers are pulling out of the non-owner occupied arena. Some will simply increase rates knowing insureds will non-renew. Sort of a "pocket veto" way of exiting a niche coverage space. You should ask them why the large increase, as James suggested. Find an agency or company that specializes I real-estate investing.
