I rented to 2 young girls, but only one is on the monthly rental agreement. The one on the agreement gave a month's notice, but the roommate can't leave for 6 days later due to paycheck issues. If the roommate that is not on the agreement doesn't leave on time, what are my options? --98.64.xx.xxx |

To bad you didn't put the second girl on the lease. The girl who is on the lease has given notice of moving out, since she is the only one on the lease the other girl would have to move at the same time. Or you could charge another month's rent for not being out. What does your lease say about a hold over?
Who is responsible for damage not the girl who want to stay in the property for a few more days but the girl who is moving out. What does she think about having to pay for any damages her friend does after she moves out? They both need to leave when the girl who has given notice she is leaving and you do a move out inspection with her. --98.82.xxx.xxx |
