I have a tenant and her son on a month to month lease. The mother wants me to evict her son only. I don't think I can do that. He has not given me any reason to evict him. I think she has to evict him. Am I right or wrong --205.188.xxx.xxx |

1. stay out of roommate and family issues. It's their problem, don't let it become yours.
2. BUT...self-preservation is important! Mom might take off, leaving YOU with a deadbeat son and no rent. I'd talk a little and see what's going on. Stick to the facts.
3. More people on the lease, with a JOINT AND SEVERALLY clause, means more paychecks to support your rent.
