State Specific Question About: ILLINOIS (IL)

I am shopping around for insurance for my property. The increases are getting to me.

Any suggestions on coverage, inclusions, or companies to call?

Any ideas would be useful. --24.1.xx.xxx

I use Shelter Insurance. Better rates and better coverage for rentals and liability umbrella than a lot of other places. --108.250.xxx.xxx

Always look at what would reduce insurance costs. For example a apartment building with a central fire alarm system and a controlled entrance would pay a lower insurance rate. If the apartment building is concrete block and cement floors then the insurance is lower then a wood structure. --216.110.xxx.xx

When I bought my first buildings 4 years ago I random called companies from the phone book. I ended up with State Farm and their rates have stayed stable so I haven't gone through the hassle of changing. --50.129.xx.xx
