State Specific Question About: VIRGINIA (VA)
My husband and I are renting out our home in VA while we live in another state. The logistics of the application process are a bit difficult. Was wondering how we should get applicants to pay the $25 application fee - not everyone will feel comfortable sending cash through the mail, but what other forms are legitimate for me to accept? --108.71.xx.xxx |

Personal check to make sure they have a bank account OR bank or certified check.
Having a bank account is one of the first steps to pre-screen clients....no checking account is a bad sign --184.5.xxx.xxx |

How can you verify the person is the person who's identity is used to rent the place? or even apply? verify the drivers license in person or you will have the hardest eviction ever, prolly should use a manager for this. --68.76.xxx.xxx |

I recently received payment through ZashCash. I believe people with a Chase bank account can initiate this. There may be others as well. It was deposited directly into my checking account at my credit union. --75.63.xx.xxx |

You could charge their credit card through paypal, squareup, or intuit gopayment. Or set up a way to collect money from their bank account directly via ACH. --71.194.xxx.xxx |
