Hello, My renter has had his car's front end on some kind of car jack for month and a half. He told me he bent tie rod end and hasn't had money to fix it. I feel I have been patient and have ask him again about repairs and my concern about it not being safe. He is very agrumentive. I would like to see the car either repaired or moved. Is there any law covering them to have 4 tires on the car and it to be in working order? Or how long is he able to let it sit like that? He lives in the back yard of another house. Last month on the truck spent approximately $65.00 each to buy to after market tie rods where one tie rod was completely broken. The mechanic in town charged $80.00 dollars to change the tie rods where there was no front end alignment. It should not be that expensive to buy two after market tie rods. In the mean time the tenant should take the car off the cinder blocks and put the tires back on the car until the tenant has the money to make repairs to the car. Someone could be seriously injured or killed if the car moves off the cinder blocks. There also going to be a issue with insurance should something happen.
